The Sutherland Subdivision is park of CPKC’ Prairie North Line. The subdivision stretches from Wynyard westward 113.5 miles to Saskatoon. There are a number spurs serving potash mines located along the subdivision. CPKC will usually move these trains south to the mainline via the Lanigan Subdivision, but on occasion they will head westward toward Saskatoon and beyond.
