The Van Buren Subdivision was purchased by the Irving umbrella of railways from MMA to keep a rail connection with St. Leonard, NB available. The line is approximately 24 miles in length and a small spur branches off at Van Buren which provides access to CN and St. Leonard on the Canadian side of the border.
